We were 13 or 14 when we went to Westward Ho! with Mrs & Mr Whiteford.  Emma was delighted to find that she could throw me during judo, despite being much slighter than me. We did abseiling, canoeing, orienteering, dry slope skiing, sand surfing, surfing and waterskiing in the estuary. The mud of the estuary was too tempting for some, including Emma.
